Vibrant, silky, seductive! Second wine from famous estate Cos d’Estournel in Saint Estephe, which is an extraordinary second-growth estate, and are referred to as Super Seconds. As the second wine, Pagodes de Cos may not so complicated as Cos d’Estournel. However, it has always been crafted from the grapes of vines from specific parcels that are 40 years old on average. Pagodes de Cos 2020 is fresh and delicate, with notes of black fruits, spice and violet, which is an excellent introduction to the unique style of Cos-d'Estournel.

Tasting Notes: (Robert Parker) It has a deep garnet-purple color and opens with notions of warm cassis, black cherries and smoked meats giving way to scents of charcoal, underbrush and cloves plus a waft of new leather. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with generous black fruits and some compelling red fruit sparks, supported by ripe, grainy tannins and finishing long and spicy.
