西元96年,多米提安皇帝為了種植更多的小麥,便下令停止種植一切葡萄藤,直到西元280年,另一位皇帝普碧斯(Probus)的新政,葡萄樹才重新回到這片土地。為了紀念這位改寫歷史的皇帝,讓盧克巴爾帝家族於 1976 年開始釀造這款卡奧爾 (Cahors) AOC 高端葡萄酒。我們也可以從普碧斯中領略到100%瑪律貝克葡萄的魅力!

在他還是新酒的時候我們就可以試著去體驗它,在醒酒器中沉澱一個小時期間酒的芬香若隱若現,同樣也適用於陳年的普碧斯,酒香醇厚風韻。建議在 16° - 17°C 的溫度條件下飲用。它不僅可以搭配法國西南地區的美味,同樣絕配與中國傳統的菜肴中的各式肉類。

Jean BALDES, a passionate wine-grower and constantly in search of worthwhile innovations, installed the first stainless steel vat for Cahors AOC wines in 1976. He doubled the area of the Triguedina estate and turned in particular towards the production of fine wines. Jean-Luc BALDES is now in charge of the estate and has taken the wines to the top level in Cahors. In 1999, he installed a modern cellar with 600 French oak barrels. As a creative winegrower, Jean-Luc BALDES has developed a wide range of wines.
In 96 A.D., the Roman emperor Domitian ordered France's vines to be grubbed up and cereals to be grown instead. In 280 A.D., after the order was annulled by another emperor, Probus, the vine was planted in the Quercy region once again. It was in tribute to him that Jean, the father of Jean-Luc Baldès, created the first cuvée of this top-of-the-range Appellation Cahors wine in 1976.

Vinification:
Separate vinification. The final selection is made through tasting. Total destalking. Fermentation for 20-25 days or more. Final temperature of 30°-32°C, thus preserving the authentic character. Running off under heat prior to maturing for 18 months in new oak barrels from the Allier department selected from the best coopers in France. Each barrel is tasted, so that the best oaky wines are blended.
Tasting Notes:
Intense and lively nose with flavors of cassis, plum and subtle oaky aroma. Concentrated but very suave palate with splendid fruit and spice flavours. Complex structure with opulent and velvety tannins. Powerful finish.
