2017 Palmer 呈深石榴紅及紫色。散發出濃郁的黑加侖子甜酒、暖布冧和黑莓果醬的香氣，還帶有淡淡的雪松木、鉛筆屑、紫羅蘭、黑朱古力、八角、檀香和桂皮的異國香味。酒體中等，極為活潑及清脆的黑果味。成熟的粒狀單寧，充滿新鮮感，餘韻悠長，礦物感豐富。

"All Great Terroir Overlook the River." The vineyards in the Plateau des Brauzes, where the terraced deposit of gravelly soil swept along by the Garonne River throughout two ice ages. For four centuries, the teams at Château Palmer have devoted their talent, intelligence, and know-how to express the potential of its terroir.
The finesse and elegance of its Margaux roots, the softness and sophistication of its texture, the nobility of leather and the gentle caress of velvet. As Merlot the old vines are planted in the 1930s, provides the Château Palmer wines with generosity and suppleness. Cabernet Sauvignon gives Palmer their restrained power and rich substance. Lastly, the long untamed Petit Verdot adding an essential spiced touch.
The winery has led by the talented winemaker, Thomas Duroux, since 2004. He has converted led the winery biodynamic viticulture and avoid the use of sulphur dioxide after the 2014 vintage, who strongly believed that these are good for the expression of the wines in the long term.

The deep garnet-purple colored, 2017 Palmer gives a very serious nose of pronounced blackcurrant cordial, warm plums and blackberry preserves with hints of cedar chest, pencil shavings, violets, dark chocolate and star anise plus exotic wafts of sandalwood and cassia. Medium-bodied, the palate features fantastically vibrant, crunchy black fruits with a firm texture of ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, finishing very long and mineral laced.

Very perfumed and subtle with dried flowers and citrus, as well as blue fruit. Full-bodied with wonderfully diffused, integrated tannins that just run over the edges of the wine. It’s extremely polished and very, very long. Fresh and bright. Energetic finish. A thoughtful wine. Drink after 2023.
