Roc Blanc is the flagship cuvée of Château Gilbert & Gaillard, a Saint-Chinian red crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes. The fruit is sourced from the estate’s highest limestone vineyard, where 25-year-old vines dig deep into mineral-rich soils to fully express the terroir.
This wine reveals a rich and elegant profile. Expect luscious red fruits, sweet garrigue herbs, aromatic cocoa and vanilla, and refined tannins wrapped in a medium to full body. The finish is long and mineral-driven, offering a hedonistic and deeply satisfying experience—especially for those just beginning to explore the soulful vineyards of Saint-Chinian in Southern France.

Named for the limestone found in this vineyard parcel, the 2015 Saint Chinian Roc Blanc is a blend of 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre, all aged in barrel for two years. Floral and herbal on the nose, it also delivers scents of mixed berries and traces of cedar and menthol. It's medium to full-bodied, with a suave, silky texture and ample length.
