Morlet Family is a wine estate located in St. Helena, California. Luc Morlet represents the fifth-generation of a French winemaking family, which owns Pierre Morlet & Fils in Champagne. Luc left France in 1996 to join his wife Jodie in her native California, they establish the estate beginning with the 2006 vintage.

Morlet's approach is low-interventionistic, and Old World in style. The grapes are fermented by natural yeasts and the wines are matured in French oak barrels. This results in wines which are powerful yet refined wines with ageing capability. Top-rated wines are sold to the high-profile restaurants around the world.

, located in the heart of the Napa Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vines benefit from clayish yet well-draining gravelly volcanic soil, in this warm yet temperate climate.

The first vintage produced entirely from the family's own Oakville vineyard, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallee boasts dark aromas and flavors of cassis, loam and mocha. Full-bodied, rich and velvety, it flows easily across the palate, easing into a soft, plush finish.

Rich and a little “sweet”, very voluptuous and hedonistic. Ultra-fine, powdery tannins, vanilla spices, cassis and a hint of roasted red capsicum and milk chocolate. Spicy, even and integrated on the palate with a long finish. Pure silk. 94% cabernet sauvignon and 6% cabernet franc. Very hedonistic and pleasurable Napa red. Drink now or hold.
