Chateau Potensac 是 Medoc 產區的主要酒莊之一。它屬於 Delon 家族,有著悠久的家族歷史,旗下的酒莊包括 Castles Léoville Las Cases 及 Nénin。由知名的 Eric Boissenot 擔任顧問,他被譽為是波爾多、特別是 Medoc 最具影響力的釀酒師。

Chateau Potensac is regarded as one of the major growths of the Medoc appellation.  It has a long family history, which has belonged to the Delon family, who is also the owner of Castles Léoville Las Cases and Nénin.

The renowned consultant, Eric Boissenot, is the most influential oenologist in Bordeaux, and more particularly for Medoc. The vines grow on gravelly-clay soils which has high average age (30+ years). They produce a very fine wine which has  excellent aging ability.

Is the 2016 Potensac this estate's finest vintage to date? Certainly, its compelling bouquet of cassis and pencil shavings and it's seamless, beautifully balanced palate make a strong case. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with beautifully refined tannins, lively acids and a long, penetrating finish, this is built to age with style, yet it is also quite accessible at this early stage for a young Potensac.

Suave aromas of cedar and fresh red flowers with a thread of ripe red berries and blackcurrants, mulberries, coal smoke and cool stones. The palate delivers a wealth of rich red-fruit flavors, framed in sleek tannins that build with precision and length. A class act. One of the best from here in the modern era. Try from 2023.
