The only white wine in our range, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc by La Millière is what you might call a rarity, with a maximum of 3,000 bottles being crafted a year.
It is made up of 4 grape varieties: Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc and Roussanne.
The alliance of Grenache Blanc and Clairette gives our White Châteauneuf-du-Pape fruity and floral aromas and flavours, finesse and an excellent aptitude for ageing. The much livelier Bourboulenc gives the wine freshness and elegance, while Roussanne contributes generous aromas and great fullness.
The epitome of finesse, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is surprising in its freshness and the wealth of its palette of aromas and flavours. Seductive from its first youth, this wine makes an ideal aperitif or partner to a wide variety of dishes. Its excellent capacity to age will delight any gourmet who, after a few years’ patience, will discover the elegance of its complex aromas that include honey and dried fruit.

Round smooth pebbles, clay and sand. Sloping vineyard, located in the area of Cabrieres, north of Chateauneuf-du-Pape Appellation Controlee.

Vinification :
Manually harvested and special berries selection. Fast pressed, the juice is doing fermentation in vat at 17 degrees for more than 15 days. Aged in steel vat upon fine sediments with regular stirring. Bottled during Spring.
The Vintage :
With its historically low yield, 2012 is a vintage with balance at its heart.Fruity, round, creamy, deep and dense, wines born in 2012 are seductive and powerful. A great cellaring vintage.
Tasting Notes :
Lovely pale straw robe with silver glints. Great yellow-fleshed fruit (peach, apricot) and blossom nose with Garrigue heathland notes (thyme, rosemary).A beautifully round and full mouthfeel, with the freshness of citrus flavours, elegant minerality and great length.
Winemaker’s Advice :
A wine that can be enjoyed from now but that boasts great cellaring potential (15 to 20 years). Ideal serving temperature: 12°C
